thanks so much for coming everyone really it means a lot to me

Will and Grace has been the greatest experience for me...i've learned so many
things from being on that show...i still to this day find it amazing that i'm on
a show with such prestige as that one

filming it is so much fun and such a great learning experience day in and day
out

What is your next movie?

well i actually just got back from Europe from filming a project called "Dear
Wendy"...and i believe that should be coming out sometime at the end of next
year

Are you going to guest star on any other shows (like you did on "ER")?

umm as of right now i am not doing any shows like that, but if an oppurtunity to
do a guest starring role on a great show like "ER" i'll be more than willing to
give it shot

Do you tend to get really nervous when you're on an audition for a movie?
Michael Angarano
definitely, to this day i always get nervous when i audition for anything,
especially if i am meeting the producers or the director...i get nervous because
they're always expecting something out of you and the only thing you can do is
do your best and hope that you give them what they're looking for

Can you tell us a bit more about your role in "Dear Wendy"?

well i play FREDDIE, brother of HUEY who is played by Chris Owen...and both of
our characters are alike in the fact that we are both very dirty and kind of low
class boys from the slums of West Virginia

so that required me to speak in a West Virginian accent

have you had to do any other accents before?

not to this extent i haven't...so that's why i am a bit nervous about it , but
i'm sure it turned out okay, considering the dialect coach was all over me about
it lol

Had you read the book "Speak" before you got the part of David patrakis? Or did
you read it afterwards to get a better sense of the script?

i actually read "Speak" while i was filming the movie...and it was great
actually because Laurie Halse Anderson (the writer of the book) visited the set,
so i got the opportunity to meet her and discuss the character with her

In what locations did you film "Dear Wendy" ?
Michael Angarano
we filmed "Dear Wendy" in Copenhagen, Denmark and then we moved to Lunen,
Germany

Did you have time to go sight-seeing at those locations?
Michael Angarano
yeah we went to a few places actually...we got to go to Sweden and Amsterdam and
visit those places...and in Germany we were right outside of Cologne so we took
some trips down there as well

all these places are beautiful and i'll always remember my time there

i can't praise the people of all places enough because we felt at home wherever
we went and they really made the experience that much better

and in Copenhagen we filmed in an extremely cool studio called Filmbyen, which
means Film City

i believe it is one of the largest film studios in Europe

Do you plan to act into your adulthood or do you have any ideas for future
careers?
Michael Angarano
as of right now i plan to keep on acting without a doubt...the only thing i can
see myself doing besides acting is writing and directing

oh yeah i got to meet Lars...lol i think he's one crazy guy

we got to sit down and have lunch with him and all at the same time he was an
insane/brilliant man

Do you have time to see your family between roles?
Michael Angarano
yeah, we filmed Speak in Columbus, Ohio at the beginning of August and i didn't
leave for Copenhagen until September 12 i believe

do you miss playing Chance on Cover Me? btw, it was GREAT!

thank you so much...yeah i honestly do miss Chance from time to time as well as
the whole Arno family

i sit down and watch an episode from time to time just to remind myself of that

i don't know honestly lol...i still go to a private high school and we do our
best to communicate with each other so i can keep up with the work and not fall
behind the class

and it's junior year right now for me to boot, so i got even more stress than
normal just because it's the hardest year

well i got my permit right now and i'm just waiting to turn 16 so i can go for
that test lol

and you can bet the second i get hat license i'm going for that car lol

what kind of car do you have or plan to get?

i think i'm going to get a used Range Rover or Grand Cherokee

defiantly don't want to get a new car because even though i am the greatest
driver in the world i'll probably smash it up a bit

in my spare time i just do normal things, i watch a lot of movies and listen to

man i don't know how to describe myself...well i think incredibly good looking
and extremely sexy

hmm...i haven't thought about that at all...i guess just clothes and some new

How do you prepare yourself for an audition mentally and physically, and what do
you do to ensure you have the best chance possible of getting the role?
Michael Angarano
well, i actually try dressing for the character...like if it's an athletic kid
i'll put a jersey on and if it's a little bit nerdy i'll like a button-down
shirt etc.

and i'll try my best to read the script and really have an understanding of the
situation and the character...maybe i'll even do some improvs with my parents to
really grasp the character and how they would react in any situation

You seem to like music alot . What is your favourite band ? what type of genre
do you like listening to ?

i like all music really...but my favorite band is blink182 and they have been
for a long time

i love eminem...i love classic rock and roll like led zeppelin and the stones...i

Are you doing anything special for your 16th birthday?

as of right now i have nothing planned really...for the past few years i haven't
done much for my birthday...i

oops...i'll just hang out with my friends and my family will have a party for my
sister and i, because her birthday is november 29th

In the future what kind of roles do you want to play? just anything that comes
up that interests you?

i guess you can say that...at this point i'm open for anything really...i think
the only role i would re-consider is one that already have played

i really want to show my versatility in all the roles i do and i don't want to
be known as a comedic actor or a dramatic actor, especially so early in my
career

Michael, what was it like playing Yong Red Pollard in Seabiscuit. Was It
Challenging?

challenging you can say in the respect that i was playing young Tobey
Maguire...that was a bit intimidating because he is a great actor...but playing
Red was challenging as well because i really didn't know much about him, only
what is in the book

i am sort of babbling on here sorry

but i just looked at it as a normal role and approached it in the fashion i
normally would

For "Little Secrets" did you really learn to play the piano?

yep that is me on the piano i'm proud to say lol

i had to learn that song for the role...that was about 3 weeks of intense 2 hour
a day training 3 days a week

If you had the chance to do everything all over again, would you change
anything?

hey jarred i heard you look like me lol

actually i don't think i ever would do anything over or would want to...even
though i'll look at my performance and say "oh i could have done that better",
it's much better just to leave it as it is because thats how i learn

What can you tell us about your character/role in "the dust factory"?
Michael Angarano
i play Rocky Mazelli and i'm best friends with the main character Ryan...and i'm
his protector in a way a little bit, i don't let anybody mess with him

Which character that you have played is most like you?
Michael Angarano
most like me i guess you can say Philip from Little Secrets...but each character
i play has a little bit of myself in them...i think that's what makes them real
and what gives them a true foundation

How did you get started in the acting business? What do you suggest to someone
who's going in with a clean slate (meaning not much experience)?
Michael Angarano
i got started modeling and then moved into commercial and tv...but for someone
new i guess the first move would be try getting an agent or a manager to
represent you...and just start out with little things so you have some
experience and you have a sense of yourself being a different person
